| Free IVF for Egg Sharers |
Ever given a thought to the despair of women who cannot produce their own eggs?
There are various reasons why some women need donor eggs. It may be a result of age seriously affecting egg quality, early menopause, chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy permanently damaging the ovaries, and some women are simply born without ovaries.
Egg Sharing is an enormous life changing gift for a couple who cannot have a family because they cannot produce their own eggs.
Our Egg Sharing programme anonymously brings together women needing IVF treatment for various reasons. It gives women the opportunity to help themselves and at the same time assist another in desperate need.
The Egg Share Donor receives free IVF treatment when she anonymously donates half of her collected eggs to another woman who is in need of donor eggs.
Can anyone become an Egg Share Donor?
The HFEA stipulates that an egg donor must be under 36 years of age. Before you are accepted as an egg share donor you will have several blood tests and investigations to confirm your suitability.
