We simply make an appointment for you to have the following tests done, which can be done at anytime during your menstral cycle:
Visit One
- Blood test for AMH
- Urine test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea
- Blood Test for Full Blood Count
- Blood test for Rubella
- At the same appointment the male partner will be required to have a semen analysis.
We will then make an appointment for your review which will be organized by our team 14 days after your first visit to ensure that all the results are in place. An appointment will usually last between 30 and 60 mins and will involve:
Fertility consultation including items listed below.
- Transvaginal ultrasound scan of the uterus and ovaries
- Possible HyCoSy test (to check whether the fallopian tubes are blocked or open)
- Discussion of the results of the female blood tests
- Discussion of the sperm test report
- Advice on any diagnosis that is made. In many cases these problems will be resolvable with further investigation, treatment and advice. For some, lifestyle changes will be advised and in a very few cases follow on fertility treatment may be recommended
- A written report
