Consultation
|
The initial consultation lasts approximately an hour. This allows ample time for an in depth discussion of the medical histories and the implications of assisted reproduction with both partners. The most suitable treatment options for you will be discussed in greater detail and clear advice given for you to consider. Should you decide to proceed, treatment may begin as early as the woman’s next menstrual cycle or at a time that is convenient to both partners, provided that screening (HIV, Hepatitis etc) has been completed and the results are available.
A semen analysis is included in the cost of your initial consultation.
We advise you to think carefully of the risks and the chances of success of each of the treatment options. These will be discussed at length during your consultation.
