Egg share programme is a great success... (05/10/2009)

Here at the Herts and Essex Fertility Centre we have an egg sharing programme which anonymously brings together women who cannot produce their own eggs with women who are prepared to share their eggs to help others. This is an enormous gift for couples previously unable to have a family because they cannot produce their own eggs.
The current success rates of this programme are excellent. Over the last four months, 12 out of 14 recipients and 8 out of 14 donors have had a positive pregnancy test. This is great news for the patients and clinic alike and we are sure this success will continue.
