Essex Fertility Centre on the move!
"Business as usual but better" says Andy Glew, Senior Embryologist
After 18 successful years at Holly House Hospital, the Essex Fertility Centre is moving to a new location in Cheshunt on 29th October 2007 and changing its name to Herts and Essex Fertility Centre with a whole new identity and look.
"It's all part of a major development and growth plan" said Senior Embryologist Andy Glew.
"When we realised that the existing facilities here at Holly House would not comply with new EU directives, it became clear that we could not continue to offer our customers the high standards of service that we demand. We therefore took the decision to move to a state of the art new facility in Cheshunt, only 20 minutes away that would provide not only the latest technologies but also a far better environment for our customers."
"We are delighted that the whole team is moving with us so its business as usual only better" he went on.
Our new purpose-built Laboratory Suite features state of the art technology that includes
- Sophisticated Air plant: providing clean filtered air and controlled temperature quality throughout the laboratory suite, far exceeding EUTD requirements
- The most Advanced Incubator systems: providing optimal environment for embryo development
- Advanced Monitoring equipment: overseeing all critical laboratory systems ensuring optimal performance
- IVF Witness: a system developed by the Essex Fertility Centre, the First IVF unit in the world to use this ground breaking electronic tagging system for the purpose of embryo security
- Dedicated Cryo-storage laboratory: continually monitored and alarmed, ensuring the safety of your stored sperm and embryos.
